Who am I? Beginning at age 11 years, in 1965 and initially taught my grandfather, photography played an important role throughout my life.
My digital photography began with the scans I made back in 1987 using "Scanner Thunder ', who turned his intonation printer scanner.
Recently I started taking pictures using digital cameras since 1997.
Nikon D90 is my 3-DSLR Nikon. It was preceded by my Nikon D70 and leaves a wonderful, Nikon D200.
Overall, I think the D90 outfit, which includes 18-105 and two that I added a Nikkor 70-300 lens of their employees, "perfect" camera equipment!

My wonderful images ... focused, without image blur from hand hold the camera and well pereeksponirovannyh (Note that the use of RAW files in Aperture 3 allows me to setup and remove every influence of small chromatic aberration that appears when the lens is removed, it is 18 mm wide, value).
Nothing "perfect" yes, I admit that the D90 is so well built as my D200 and that it was the first DSLR is a possibility HAD video, video quality is not perfect.
However, when I think about the cost of better built D300s (twice more than the D90!), and I bought it for serious photography, not video, it ranks all the equipment in my book!
My ten years of experience taught me that Nikon also holds gears much better in the long run which is why it has a much higher resale value, too!
If you want the best DSLR camera with LCD (no one is better still!), glass Penta-prism viewfinder, which allows "see" what you shoot, even in low light conditions and the name brand, Nikon Does will keep it on all its resale value, it is hard to mistake D90 kit!
BTW I order the optional battery holder / side handle for it. Using two batteries that grip for portrait and add enough fun following D90 body so that all fingers of his right hand can reach the camera makes it a must-have addition.

New DSLR cameras for 2009-2010 which is best for beginners like me?
So Nikon and Canon have announced new cameras and very excited and fascinated by photography. I have picked out new ones have yet released as of today, and hoping you pro photographers can help me choose and why I should get. For about $600 it's between the new Nikon D3000, replacing the D60/40/40x or the Canon T1 (not T1i), a rumor I hear it was going to be released in September 1, 2009. Also I was only considering the new Point & Shoot Canon SX20 IS at $400. But those are my main choices and maybe the Canon XS but I wanna stick with the new. Any other suggestions would be great.
If you know photography or are willing to invest on learning the basics of photography, you must get a dSLR. If not, you are better off with a point and shoot camera (PNS). Having a dSLR camera does not insure getting great pictures all the time. If you don't know what you are doing, you will get crappy pictures if not crappier compared to when you use a PNS.
I am not sure about the T1's specs but if it is indeed more than 10MP then it is probably more advisable to get than the D3000 if similarly priced.

Where can I buy cheap digital cameras both online and in store?
Hi,
I need a digital camera for one of my geology classes as we would be going on filed trips-including coal mines, so i would need one that is very good in the dark and take very good close up pictures which I would use in my presentations.
The only brand I like is Nikon and I want a touch screen, but the highest MP the Nikon series has is 12.1 MP, which is the S70. Would that be okay or should I get a 14PM one, the S7000.
What zooming would be best for me? Would the Coolpix series be good for me or should I think of other brands?
Also, where can i get cameras (only new and refurbished) at a good deal- both online and in-store?
